Sunday School – 10:00 a.m.

• All children are encouraged to participate in Sunday School from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. We are currently using the Whirl All Ages curriculum.

Mini Methodist Moment – 11:00 a.m.

• During our 11 o’clock worship service, we lead a Children’s Celebration. This brief time of focused learning gives our children an opportunity to participate actively in worship. In addition, a special Children’s Bulletin is available on a clipboard at the back of the church to help the children learn more about the gospel lesson for the day. 

Camp Opportunities

• Each summer we host Vacation Bible School and we encourage our children to participate in day camp at Camp Chestnut Ridge. In all things, we remember the vows we make when we baptize our children: “With God’s help we will proclaim the good news and live according to the example of Christ. We will surround these children with a community of love and forgiveness, that they may grow in their trust of God, and be found faithful in their service to others. We will pray for them, that they may be true disciples who walk in the way that leads to life.” (United Methodist Hymnal, page 35).

Saxapahaw UMYF – (Grades 6-12)- After church every Sunday. 

• The Youth Group (Grades 6-12) at Saxapahaw UMC meets on Sundays after church in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be provided. Join us as we grow in our faith, strengthen our friendships, and have fun! For more information, contact Mary Sander at sax.youth1@gmail.com.
