April is Missions Month!

April 7: Feed My Sheep (Pastor Billy) at 11 am

& Boots to the Ground (Youth Day at Chestnut Ridge) at 3 pm

April 14: Zoe Empowers Sunday (Gaston Warner) at 11 am

April 21: Mandy Locke’s Mission Sunday at 11 am

April 28: S.A.F.E. Sunday at 11 am

During Missions Month, you may make offerings to the missions during worship on any of the Sundays in April. Make your check out to Saxapahaw UMC and put the name of the mission on the memo line on your check. If using an offering envelope, please mark your donation on the front. Thank you for your support of our missions in April!

March Madness Snack Pack

Food Collection Competition

The final results are in from our Snack Pack Food Drive!

The Tarheels smoked the competition with 489 items!

Second place was Duke with 198, NC State with 149,

and University of Kentucky with 89!

Haw River Island Ramble

Saturday, April 13

8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Saxapahaw Island Park

Saxapahaw United Methodist Church will provide parking for the Haw River Island Ramble and we’ll have an information table in the parking lot about our church. We need volunteers to help with the table that morning. Contact Pastor Billy wsander@nccumc.org if you are interested in volunteering to help him and Carrie with the table.

Nursery: Available between 10:45 am and noon. Contact Barbara Christy to sign-up to volunteer as a nursery helper.
Children’s Bulletins: Available on the bookshelf at the back of the church.
Altar flowers: Contact Barbara Christy to sign up to bring altar flowers.
